Description

The Beach Shack is a family beachfront home nestled in the heart of beautifully acclaimed Blacksmiths Beach. Upon walking in the front door, you will instantly feel relaxed with the calm and relaxing, beach like feel of the home.

Sleeping up to 9 guests, this 4-bedroom beach house is perfect for two families to enjoy a getaway, comfortably together. You can even bring your fur baby along with you.

Walk across the road, and you and your family will have access to this idyllic patrolled Beach. Alternatively, you can walk to Lake Macquarie for a swim, or to fish in the pristine waters.

The home has an open plan living and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen features a full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, plus all the other necessaries to help make your stay comfortable and easy. The living area has a flat screen TV, DVD player, lounge and bench seat dining table.

If you wish to dine outdoors, you can sit at the table on the large undercover deck, this area also has BBQ facilities and a hammock which is ideal for the adults to relax and enjoy the setting sun with a good book and glass of wine. There is also a heated outdoor shower and generous back yard for children and adults to relax and enjoy when you come home from the beach across the street.

Offering free Wifi throughout, both the main and second bedrooms features a queen size bed , the third bedroom has 2 single beds, and the fourth bedroom has a tribunk (Double on the bottom, single on the top), all bedrooms have ceiling fans to help keep you cool through those summer months. There are 2 bathrooms throughout the house.

This home has plenty of parking for 1 or more cars, plus a boat or jetski, either in the long driveway or on street parking. There is a boat ramp less then 5 minutes from the home where you can launch your boat straight into the channel then decide whether you want to take it out into the ocean or relax around the lake. There are plenty of islands in the lake that you can boat up to and enjoy a picnic lunch.

Along with the beach and boat ramp, the beach shack is also close to Blacksmiths break wall, a local swimming spot called Grannies pool, a kids playground or more! Swansea is only just over the bridge where you can do grocery shopping and explore the local clubs and restaurant.

Cancellation Policy

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The person making the booking MUST be at least eighteen years of age.

DEPOSIT: Until either a deposit or full payment is received confirmed and receipted by Lakeshores Management a booking is tentative only and Lakeshores Management may cancel it at any time.

GUEST REGISTRATION AND SECURITY BOND: Prior to arrival and to ensure that the property is treated fairly a Guest Registration form is required to be completed for all bookings and must be completed online and electronically signed agreeing with our Conditions of Tenancy.

This registration requires your credit card details. Damages breakages and excess cleaning charges etc. will be charged to this Credit Card if required. If Credit Card details cannot be supplied a cash security deposit is payable with the minimum payment being $500.00 This will be refunded within 14 days after departure subject to inspection to ensure that the property has been left in a tidy state no damages or loss of property are found and that our Booking & Tenancy Terms and Conditions have not been breached.

The pin code required to access the property will not be provided unless this registration has been read and signed.

CANCELLATIONS:

No refunds will be given if the guest or guests leave prior to their departure date, regardless of the reason for the early check out. The following cancellation policy applies if you have booked direct with Lakeshores Accommodation (congratulations on finding the cheapest rate!

If you cancel your accommodation, and we can secure a replacement booking for the same period and for the same rate, your deposit will be refunded less a $100.00 Cancellation Fee. If however the property cannot be re let, one of following will apply:

*Bookings cancelled at least ninety (90) days prior to the arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00 *For cancellations over twenty eight (28) days of the arrival date the full deposit is non-refundable. If any payments have been received over the deposit then the refund will be total amount paid to date, less the deposit. *For cancellations within fourteen (14) days of the arrival date 75% of the total tariff is non-refundable. *We do not accept partial cancellations of days or guest numbers.

For refunds where the payment method was by credit card the refund will be processed back on to the same credit card. All other refunds will be via direct deposit to your bank account.
