Lakelandia is the ultimate family holiday escape. Located in Swansea, this 4-bedroom home with private in-ground pool has everything you need for a weekend or longer away to unwind, relax and explore all the local sights and beaches that Lake Macquarie has to offer.

This home is ideal for a large family, two small families or couples. The home is located opposite a bushland setting and just 300m to the lakes edge and a short drive to cafes, restaurants, local shops and beaches. There is plenty of parking for a boat and a massive outdoor entertaining area with BBQ to sit and watch the kids enjoy the pool.

The single storey home has 4 bedrooms sleeping 8 people in a king bed, queen bed and two double beds. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and there is also air conditioning in the living spaces.

The fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, cooktop, fridge and coffee machine has everything you need to prepare a meal. There is a breakfast bar and spacious open living and dining area with dining room table, huge comfortable lounge and large flat screen TV with Foxtel.

This room flows out onto the undercover entertainment area, with outdoor furniture, BBQ and views of the pool. The inground pool is the perfect place to laze around in the summer on the deck and soak up some sun on one of the deck chairs.

The bathroom has a separate shower and bath and there is a second toilet located in the laundry. The laundry has a washing machine for your use. There is plenty of parking in the long driveway for cars and a boat, with the boat ramp less than a minutes’ drive away.

The reserve opposite the home leads to the lakes edge, the perfect spot to enjoy an afternoon sunset and fish off the jetty. Blacksmiths and the historic Catherine Hill Bay are 5-minute and Murray's Beach is just a few minutes away with picnic areas, walking tracks and café. The local shops are an easy flat walk from the home where there is a Coles, Woolworths, Dan Murphy’s and more.

With it’s central location, in ground pool and spacious living and entertaining areas, this home ticks all the boxes for a relaxing weekend away on Lake Macquarie.

From Sydney: Travel north along the F3 Freeway from Sydney. Turn left off the Pacific Highway at Swansea onto Old Pacific Highway. Follow this road 500m until you reach the address on the left hand side of the road. Lakeshores Accommodation sign will be located on the property.

From Newcastle: Follow the Pacific Highway south. Keep following the Pacific Hwy until you reach Swansea. Turn right at the roundabout and follow the Old Pacific Highway. Your property will be located on this road. Lakeshores Accommodation sign will be located on the property.

Cancellation policy


The person making the booking MUST be at least eighteen years of age.

DEPOSIT: Until either a deposit or full payment is received confirmed and receipted by Lakeshores Management a booking is tentative only and Lakeshores Management may cancel it at any time.

GUEST REGISTRATION AND SECURITY BOND: Prior to arrival and to ensure that the property is treated fairly a Guest Registration form is required to be completed for all bookings and must be completed online and electronically signed agreeing with our Conditions of Tenancy.

This registration requires your credit card details. Damages breakages and excess cleaning charges etc. will be charged to this Credit Card if required. If Credit Card details cannot be supplied a cash security deposit is payable with the minimum payment being $500.00 This will be refunded within 14 days after departure subject to inspection to ensure that the property has been left in a tidy state no damages or loss of property are found and that our Booking & Tenancy Terms and Conditions have not been breached.

The pin code required to access the property will not be provided unless this registration has been read and signed.


No refunds will be given if the guest or guests leave prior to their departure date, regardless of the reason for the early check out. The following cancellation policy applies if you have booked direct with Lakeshores Accommodation (congratulations on finding the cheapest rate!)

If you cancel your accommodation, and we can secure a replacement booking for the same period and for the same rate, your deposit will be refunded less a $100.00 Cancellation Fee. If however the property cannot be re let, one of following will apply:

*Bookings cancelled at least ninety (90) days prior to the arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00

*For cancellations over twenty eight (28) days of the arrival date the full deposit is non-refundable. If any payments have been received over the deposit then the refund will be total amount paid to date, less the deposit.

*For cancellations within fourteen (14) days of the arrival date 75% of the total tariff is non-refundable.

*We do not accept partial cancellations of days or guest numbers.

For refunds where the payment method was by credit card the refund will be processed back on to the same credit card. All other refunds will be via direct deposit to your bank account.
