The Lake Macquarie City Destination Management Plan (DMP) sets out the destination management context and road map for Lake Macquarie City Council from 2022-2026.
The plan's goal is to promote a growing visitor economy that is economically, socially and environmentally sustainable; ensuring that the lifestyle, heritage, cultural, landscape and environmental assets that form the basis for tourism within the city are retained, protected and enhanced.
It will serve as a strategic business plan for building and managing the visitor economy within the city.
