To enable the local community to experience the excitement of SailGP racing, Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club (SPASC) plan to host a "SailGP Watch Party" to support SPASC's pairing with the Germany SailGP Team. SPASC will provide live coverage of SailGP races held in Sydney in SPASC Clubhouse - entry is free.

SailGP’s dedicated community, education and outreach initiative, Inspire makes its return ahead of the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix, Sydney. As the world’s best sailing athletes prepare for the eighth event of SailGP Season 4, 400 young people will be given the chance to take part in the SailGP Inspire program.

As part of this initiative, all 10 competing nations in the SailGP league will be involved in the Inspire Adopt-a-Club program, recognising that sailing organisations and clubs are the entry point for many young people to a world of on-water activities. SPASC has subsequently been paired with the Germany SailGP Team as part of this program.

SPASC plan to decorate the Clubhouse in support of the Germany SailGP team and will provide live viewing of the race on a large television screen via Foxtel in SPASC Clubhouse at Speers Point. We will have German Wurst on the barbecue and appropriate refreshments for sale.
