Belmont Wetlands State Park

Activities abound in Belmont Wetlands State Park, with walking, cycling, mountain biking, birdwatching and more all on offer. The park is home to a rich and varied natural environment. Encounter ecologically diverse wetlands, tranquil native bushland and impressive sand dune systems on your visit. With over 4km of beachfront, one of the most popular things to do in the park is 4Wdriving on Nine Mile Beach. This requires a permit which can be purchased online and from selected local retailers. See photo above for an example of the beach access permit sticker installed correctly on a vehicle. Please see the Belmont Wetlands State Park website for more information on purchasing 4WD permits (copy and paste www.belmontwetlands.com.au into your browser).
