Southlake Business Chamber and Community Alliance
Point of difference
The Southlake Business Chamber & Community Alliance (SBCCA) was established in 2007 with the merging of the Southlake Community Alliance and the Morisset and District Chamber of Commerce.
Both organizations had a cross over of services in the district and merging the two entities consolidated membership, meetings, events and costs allowing a solid foundation for future growth.
The new SBCCA focuses on programs including monthly chamber meetings, business networking events, business excellence awards, the production of publications including the Southlake Visitors Guide and the Southlake Business and Community Directory along with community events and other town centre economic development programs. The SBCCA encompasses the charters of business and community and includes youth, environment and heritage.
DetailsOur motto is “Business is Community and Community is Business”.
The SBCCA aims to encourage and promote a climate where business can operate productively and profitably. We seek to assist in the building of economic capacity in the Southlake area encompassing the town centres of Morisset, Bonnells Bay, Cooranbong, Dora Creek and Wyee.
By working with the community, business and government entities, the chamber aims to create better conditions for growth in local economic development programs aiming to improve the business climate, encourage investment in infrastructure and businesses premises and sites. We encourage business growth and new enterprises, to help improved investment in the Southlake area.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month 6.30 p.m. at the Morisset Multipurpose Centre.
