Since the year 2000, the Museum of Art and Culture, yapang has met with the Aboriginal Reference Group with a focus on Aboriginal art programming and projects within the Lake Macquarie community. This collection reflects this vital and unique community-driven relationship.

This exhibition pays homage to the growing collection of artworks held onsite, to the commitment to contemporary Aboriginal art, to the people behind the artworks and to the audiences receiving them.
