This 3 bedroom, is toddler friendly and ideal for the larger family. Located in gently slopping bushland, it offers the best of both worlds ... beautiful bushland settings and a short stroll away from all the the Resort's facilities.

This home is tastefully decorated in a sailor/sea theme, it has also been recently updated with new carpet and a fresh coat of paint. Walking into the house you are greeted by a relaxing holiday feel. If you do have troubles walking up stairs, then this hosue is still perfect for you as it has everything you need on the ground floor without needing to go upstairs.

The Ground level features the 3rd bedrom with 2 single beds, the second bathroom with a toilet and shower, a fully functioning laundry which has a washing machine and a dryer. It also has the open plan living area which has plenty of seating on the lounge for everyone, a flat screen TV, Dining set which is surrounded by glass doors so you can open the blinds and doors and enjoy whatever nature is bringing that day and it also has a self contained kitchen with a full size fridge, dishwasher and plenty of bench space. Walking out of the doors you are walking straight onto the wrap around deck that looks over the bushland and has 2 table settings if you wish to eat outside or enjoy your morning cuppa.

Upstairs features the main bedroom with a queen bed, each of the bedrooms in the house have built in cupboards to store all your items, the second bedroom is also up here which contains a single bed and a set of single bunk beds. Upstairs is also home to the main bathroom which has a shower over bath and a toilet.

This house is fully air conditioned with ducted air conditioning.

We haven't even spoke about how amazing the actual resort is yet.... Throughout the resort there are 4 swimming pools, 2 smaller ones, the large main one and also a heated pool for the colder months, there is BBQ areas with picnic tables, tennis courts, jet buzz is located onsite you can either hire a boat or head out on the awesome jet boat which zooms you around Lake Macquarie doing heaps of cool tricks. There is also an onsite restaurant and cafe .

This cottage is well positioned within the resort, and is only a short stroll to the waters edge and all of the resorts amenities.

Easily accommodating up to 7 guests, this three bedroom stand alone property looks out over bushland and is within walking distance to both pools and tennis courts..

The Ducted air-conditioning keeps you warm (or cool) throughout all the seasons, and there is an additional split systems in the 1st floor bedrooms, to make your sleep a comfortable and restful experience.

The lounge and dining area is on the one level and leads out on to the under covered deck area that is perfect for alfresco dining. There are polished timber floors throughout the lower level, and flat screen 32 cm Television and foxtel ensures your children will be entertained.

There is a fully equipped laundry, with dryer, and kitchen with dishwasher, oven and ceramic cook top. There is also a full sized fridge for your groceries (Coles and Woolworths are just a 5 minutes drive away in Swansea.)

There are two bathrooms, each conveniently on a different level and a full sized bath in the upstairs bathroom conveniently located next to the two upstairs bedrooms.

There is off street parking near your unit (either in front of the garage) or on the two visitor parking bays next to your property.

Raffertys Resort is set on the shores of Lake Macquarie and is in a bushland setting. There are two oasis (kids) pools and a main Resort Pool that is situated next to the El Lago Italian restuarant. An undercovered heated pool and spa is available for year round swimming. Around the resort are BBQ areas and picnic tables for your use. There is also 4 full sized tennis courts for your enjoyment.

Directions and Map

From Newcastle:
Follow the Pacific Highway south via Swansea to the Cams Wharf turn off.
At the bottom of Cams Wharf Road you will see Raffertys Road on the right. At the end of this Road you will see the sign for Raffertys Resort.
Turn left into the Resort and follow the road until you see the second road to your left (Currawong Cr). #9 is on the corner as you come in to this road, directly ahead.
You can park in front of the garage marked #9

Cancellation Policy


The person making the booking MUST be at least eighteen years of age.

DEPOSIT: Until either a deposit or full payment is received confirmed and receipted by Lakeshores Management a booking is tentative only and Lakeshores Management may cancel it at any time.

GUEST REGISTRATION AND SECURITY BOND: Prior to arrival and to ensure that the property is treated fairly a Guest Registration form is required to be completed for all bookings and must be completed online and electronically signed agreeing with our Conditions of Tenancy.

This registration requires your credit card details. Damages breakages and excess cleaning charges etc. will be charged to this Credit Card if required. If Credit Card details cannot be supplied a cash security deposit is payable with the minimum payment being $500.00 This will be refunded within 14 days after departure subject to inspection to ensure that the property has been left in a tidy state no damages or loss of property are found and that our Booking & Tenancy Terms and Conditions have not been breached.

The pin code required to access the property will not be provided unless this registration has been read and signed.

CANCELLATIONS: Non peak periods. We accept cancellations up to 4 week from arrival date – a $75 cancellation fee applies to cover bank and merchant fees. Prior to 4 weeks full payment is required. Peak periods. Public holidays including Long Weekends NSW School Holidays Easter Christmas and Special Events. Up to 12 weeks from arrival date – a $200 cancellation fee applies to cover bank and merchant fees Under 12 weeks from arrival date - full deposit unless property is rebooked. If the property is re-booked a $500 cancellation fee then applies)
