What is the Lake Macquarie Tourism Association?
The Lake Macquarie Tourism Association is the peak industry group in Lake Macquarie, with over 130 members.

The Tourism Association works in partnership with Lake Macquarie Councils tourism team to achieve the following objectives.
• Create an awareness of Lake Macquarie as a destination
• Develop a network of quality based tourist facilities
• Encourage industry professionalism
• Develop and implement a tourism strategy unique to Lake Macquarie
• Broaden the awareness of tourism within the city
• Establish a broad member base and a forum for industry communication
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with Council
