Blacksmiths Beach House is Self Catering Boutique Budget Accommodation which can sleep up to 28 people in 6 rooms. This includes two dormitory style room sleeping 4 & 8, two double room sleeping 3 & 5 with a shared bathroom and we have a family room, which can accommodate up to 6 people and has an ensuite bathroom. Beds from $30 p.n, all linen provided.

This Australian Federation cottage is ideally placed between the lake and local shopping centre and is perfect for the short stay business person or for family & friends visiting relatives in the area.

The roomy cottage has a main bedroom with QS bed, 2nd bedroom with a DS bed and a 3rd bedroom with 2 SS beds, all with plenty of hanging & storage space.

With solid polished timber floorboards throughout, the spacious lounge room provides comfortable seating and features a wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD & CD players.

The property has reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fans as well as good air flow through ventilation.

A separate dining room adjoins the spacious kitchen which provides plenty of storage space, a full size fridge, microwave and upright stove and oven.

The back door leads off the kitchen onto an outdoor undercover area and enclosed back yard which is ideal for young children.

A gas BBQ and dining setting make this area the perfect spot for al fresco dining.

The bathroom has a full size bath and separate shower and a separate toilet.

Kia Orana Cottage is 3 minutes walk down the road to the edge of the lake and the same distance to the shops. Popular Caves Beach is just 5 minutes drive away.

The Cottage is fully self-contained with BBQ and outdoor setting on a large covered balcony and master bedroom overlooking the lake. Additional downstairs bathroom contains washing machine and dryer.

The Cottage sleeps up to 7 people and is ideal for either 2 couples or a family.
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen size bed
Bedroom 2: Bouble bed bunk (sleeps 3) + 1 single bed + pull-out single trundle bed.

Alternatively, LAKES EDGE BOATHOUSE can be rented on its own or in combination with the Cottage when there are larger groups such as 2 families (or sleeping quarters for the kids). The secluded self-contained Boathouse is located only 1 metre from the lake's edge and about 70 metres in front of the cottage. Please enquire as to the availability + pricing, as discounts will be offered for combined booking of the Cottage and Boathouse. Lakes Edge Boathouse is 8 x 3m in diameter and has sliding glass doors opening to a covered deck overlooking the Lake. It is ideal for a couple or small family.

This fully self-contained boathouse comes with all the comforts you need to make that perfect weekend. Bathroom facilities are located only metres away in an adjacent rustic boathshed.

The boathouse contains:

"Fin's Beach House" offers spacious accomodation for up to 9 people right on the water at Swansea Heads. Upstairs there are 2 Queen size bedrooms and a great kids room with a bunk and single bed (cot and highchair is available). The bathroom has separate bath, shower (BYO towels) and toilet. A large open plan kitchen / dining / lounge room with large plasma TV / DVD / stereo that opens onto a massive upper deck that has a BBQ and 8 seater table along with sun lounges.

Downstairs there is a fully equipped laundry, as well as a second toilet. Another living area with a second TV / DVD and plentiful lounging again looking over the water. You can swim straight out the front, or walk 100metres to a 1km long sandy beach. Alternatively there are surfing beaches and reefs only a short walk away, and the best of boating that both Lake Macquarie and the ocean can provide.
